Senior Salesforce Business Analyst

As the Senior Salesforce Business Analyst, your purpose is to focus on ensuring that the Work teams across Marketing, Sales and Customer Experience are constantly optimizing the Salesforce platform to help The Organization deliver industry best practices in prospect engagement, client-on-boarding, account management and technical support. You will also participate on integration projects between Salesforce and The Organization’s products, where you’ll lead requirements gathering to document the integration design and architecture. As the Salesforce platform owner, you’ll be responsible for all change control and maintenance of the Salesforce instance(s).


  • Work directly with project stakeholders across The Organization, 3rd party integration consultants to establish Salesforce solution requirement and implementation plan
  • Lead delivery and testing phases of projects related to Salesforce platform
  • Advise on architectural decisions within (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Pardot, Portals and Integrations)
  • Deploy updated solutions to the environments (Dev, Test and Production)
  • Manage Salesforce user roles and permissions
  • Monitor the Production Solution for errors and performance
  • Triage and resolve production support tickets for issues reported in the Salesforce Production solution
  • Collaborate with other roles involved, such as Product Owners, Architects, and Project Managers
  • Manage the regular Salesforce upgrade process, including regression testing, potential remediation, and communications
  • Create validation rules, workflow rules, time triggered tasks, email alerts, filed updates to implement business logic
  • Prior experience with the use of ETL tools to prepare data for migration into Salesforce from various 3rd party data sources
  • Perform data maintenance activities using Data Loader
  • Develop reports and dashboards within Salesforce using standard reporting and Einstein analytics
  • Comfortable with using project delivery tools such as JIRA, Smartsheets, Asana


  • You demonstrate flexibility and versatility in meeting objectives and should be able to manage your workload and update management on task progress. You should already demonstrate progressing skills in building solutions and in optimizing and improving a Salesforce applications and systems
  • 2-3 years relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong consulting skills – including communication, professionalism, meeting facilitation
  • Baseline skills/experience in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Testing, Architecture Knowledge, Technical Solution Design and Vendor Management
  • Salesforce Administrator certification is an asset
  • Relevant Salesforce Cloud certification(s) – Sales or Service Cloud
  • Knowledge/experience as a business and/or system analyst, through working experience
  • Knowledge/experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and implementation – typically – Agile for Salesforce
  • Willingness to travel to the 2nd location as required
